Ayrshire Strokeplay title holder John Shanks (Irvine) has edged his way into the second round of the 2015 Ayrshire Champion Of Champions Trophy competition.
Shanks, playing at home against Andrew Lindsay (Ayr Dalmilling) had a single hole victory on the final green to book his place in the second round, where he will face an away match against either Chris Ireland (Prestwick St Nicholas) or Gordon Johnston (Kilbirnie).
All first round ties are due to be completed by Sunday 12th April. The remaining outstanding first round results are :-
