A full field of 60 players will contest the two round strokeplay championship, with defending champion John Shanks (Irvine) leading the players off in the first game at 8.00 a.m.
The players returning the leading 16 aggregate scores in the Strokeplay Championship will go on to contest the Ayrshire Matchplay Championship at Prestwick St Cuthbert GC from 4th to 7th May.
