GIRLS HOME INTERNATIONALS - Scotland lose to Wales on day one in Ireland

Scotland made a disastrous start to the Girls' Home Internationals at Donabate Golf Club, near Dublin, when they were beaten 7-2 by Wales on day one, Wednesday 6 August.

After losing the foursomes 3-0, Ayrshire's Connie Jaffrey and team mate Lauren Whyte were the Scots' only winners in the singles.

Defending champions England opened with a 5-4 win over Ireland who won the foursomes 2-1
