AYRSHIRE JUNIOR ORDER OF MERIT - Jack Thomas extends lead

As a result of his win in the Ayrshire Boys Championship this week, Jack Thomas (Irvine) extended his lead in the chase for the 2014 Ayrshire Junior Order Of Merit.

With only five of the twenty two scheduled remaining to be recorded, Thomas has built a considerable lead over his nearest challenger, Blair Wallace (Kilmarnock Barassie).

The events which remain to be added to the Order Of Merit table are :-

The Brunston Junior Golf Classic
The Ayr Belleisle Junior Open
The Boys Amateur Championship








In a worrying development this year, a number of counting events have been cancelled due to very low levels of entries by the closing dates.
