EUROPEAN WOMANS AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHP - Top 20 finish for Connie Jaffrey

Connie Jaffrey (Troon Ladies) shot a final round of three-under-par 69 for a total of 290 and tied for 19th place in the European women's amateur golf championship at Estonia Golf and Country Club.

Jaffrey finished 12 shots behind the two Spaniards who tied for the title on 278, Luna Sobron and Noemi Jimenez.
Sobron, beaten in the final of the 2013 British women's amateur championship, won the marathon play-off at the eighth extra hole of sudden-death play.
 
Lauren Whyte (St Regulus), the only other Scot to survive the third-round cut, finished joint 44th on 296 after a final round of 75.
The top British player was Meghan MacLaren (Wellingborough) who finished T14 on 289 with rounds of 73, 70, 73 and 73.
