For the second successive year, entries to the event, the premier title in Ayrshire boys golf, have been disappointingly low by the closing date, with spaces still remaining.

The 36 hole event carries both scratch and handicap prizes.
Handicap limit is 12 and entry fee is £10
Players returning the best 8 scratch scores in the championship will go forward to contest the Ayrshire Boys Matchplay Championship at Prestwick Golf Club from 18th to 21st August.
Remaining places will be filled on a first come first served basis.
Players considering submitting a late entry should note that NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY OF THE COMPETITION. Consequently any player who has not yet entered and wishes to do so should contact the area secretary, Alasdair Malcolm as soon as possible and forward the entry form and relevant fee.
