DOC THOM AYRSHIRE ORDER OF MERIT - Hamilton takes full points at home club event

Craig Hamilton (Ballochmyle) boosted his bid for the 2014 Doc Thom Ayrshire Order Of Merit on Saturday 14th June when he took full points at his home club in the Ballochmyle Open.
 
His scratch score of 70 saw Hamilton move into second place in the table, behind leader John Shanks (Irvine), who was second to Hamilton at Ballochmyle with a scratch 72.

Jim Johnston (Ayr Belleisle) was third with 73, which moved him up to fifth place in the order Of merit table.

The next local counting event is this Saturday, 21st June, when the McGilchrist Cup takes place at Ardeer.

With seven of the sixteen qualifying events now completed, present positions in the chase for the Doc Thom Salver are :-
