AYRSHIRE SCRATCH LEAGUES - Moorpark open Division 5 bid with win over Maybole

The first match in Division 5 of the Ayrshire Scratch Leagues this year resulted in a resounding victory for Moorpark.

Playing at home, Moorpark defeated their visitors Maybole by 5 - 1 in the opening fixture.

In Division 4, Tam O Shanter made it two wins from two with a narrow 3.5 - 2.5 result at home against near neighbours Ayr Dalmilling.

In Division 1, Irvine opened their bid for the title with a good 4 - 2 win away from home at Kilmarnock (Barassie).

In Division 2, Girvan secured their first win of the season with a 4 - 2 victory away to league leaders Caprington, whilst West Kilbride moved into second place with a crushing 6 - 0 home win over Girvan.
