PRESTWICK PROFESSIONALS TAKE A DIP FOR CLIC

Prestwick Golf Club Professionals David Fleming, Nicky Sinclair, Allan Todd and Euan Henderson took part in this years Prestwick Boxing Day dip in support of CLIC Sargent.

Following the example of Prestwick's first Professional, Old Tom Morris, who is said to have bathed in the sea every morning regardless of the weather, the group were originally aiming to raise the sum of £1000 for the charity, but the four members of the Prestwick GC professional shop staff have so far raised the magnificent sum of  £2495.00.

Head professional David Fleming  commented,

"Thanks to the members of Prestwick GC and our friends and family who generously donated to this cause. An incredible amount of money raised for our Prestwick Golf Club neighbours at CLIC Sargent, Prestwick".
