Ayrshire's Linzi Allan, a student at Newman University, Wichita in Kansas, finished eigith in a field of 73 players for the Oklahoma Intercollegiate women's golf tournament at Fort Sill Golf Club, Oklahoma at the weekend.

Linzi, a West Kilbride GC member, shot 75-73 for a four-over-par total of 148, finishing seven shots behind the winner, Jacqueline Lau (Tarleton State) (72-69) (Cal Carson Golf Agency)
