BRITISH GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP - Jaffrey bows out in last 32

Connie Jaffrey (Troon Ladies) bowed out of the 2012 British Girls Championship at Tenby GC on Wednesday afternoon, after reaching the last 32 of the competition.

In the opening round of matchplay on Wednesday morning, Jaffrey had a convincing 6 & 4 win over Nanna K Madsen from Denmark to progress to the last 32 but in nthe afternoon was defeated by England's Ashleigh Greenham (West Sussex) by 5 & 4.

Of the five Scots who qualified for the matchplay stages, Connie Jaffrey was the only one who made it through to the second round, leaving her as the last Scot to bow out of the competition.
