AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE - barassie on brink of wallace Thornton final

Kilmarnock (Barassie) are on the brink of booking their place in the final of the Wallace Thornton Trophy for 2012.

In qualifying section 1, barassie have completed all their matches with 3 wins and one defeat, leaving them on 12 points.

With only two results in the section outstanding, defending champions Troon Welbeck can match Barassie on points with a win at home to West Kilbride, although even a 4-0 result will see the holder lose out on tie difference.

Similarly, Ayr Belleisle face an away trip to West Kilbride in their final match, where a win by 4 - 0 would see them overtake Barassie by virtue of tie difference, whilst a 3.5 - 0.5 win would see them tied with Barassie at the top of the section.
