Wilson, who is bidding to become the first person to succesfully defend the Junior Order Of Merit title Won the 36 hole Herris Boys Open at West Kilbride and was runner up in the recent Prestwick Boys Open at St Cuthbert.
A win at Largs hoisted Euan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) into second place whilst a runner up spot at largs edged jack Thomas (Irvine) into third place, just ahead of Stewart Russell (Kilmarnock Barassie), who has recorded points in four of the seven counting events completed so far.
Results for the Ardeer Junior Open (10th July) and the Loudoun Boys Open (16th July) are still to be recorded.
