AYRSHIRE SCRATCH LEAGUES - Irvine hold early lead in title chase

Matches are under way in all five Ayrshire Scratch Leagues, as teams bid for the titles with matches throughout the summer months

In DIVISION 1, Irvine took the early lead, with 7 of the 30 fixtures played, after a 4.5 - 1.5 home win over Kilmarnock Barassie in their last match, which followed a 3 - 3 draw away from home against Troon Welbeck.

In DIVISION 3, Kilbirnie Palce opened with a 4 - 2 home win over Troon St Meddans whilst Largs began their campaign with a narrow 3.5 - 2.5 home win over Kilbirnie Place.
