WEST OF SCOTLAND INTER COUNTY UNDER 18 LEAGUE - Two wins from two for Ayrshire

Ayrshire made it two wins from two in the 2011 West Of Scotland Inter County Under 18 League on Sunday 19th June, with a 5 - 3 win over Renfrewshire at Ranfurly Castle

Playing in the lead match, Louis Murray (Troon Welbeck) was ahead early on but faded away to a 2&1 defeat.

In the second tie, Euan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) was never in trouble and levelled the match at 1 - 1 with a 4&3 win.

Callum Gorrie (Kilmarnock Barassie) put Ayrshire 2 - 1 ahead, winning 6 of the first 7 holes on the road to an 8&6 victory.

In a very tight match, Euan Henderson (Kilmarnock Barassie) exchanged holes with his opponent on the road to a half match.

After going two down after eight holes, Rory McKenzie (Troon Welbck) showd his mettle, fighting back well in the inward half to record a 2 & 1 win.
Callum Beveridge (Troon Welbeck) made the match score 4 - 2 with a half match, whilst Jack McCluskey (Ayr Belleisle) secured the winning point when he fought back from 3 down after three holes to secure a one hole win.
In the final match of the day, Charlie McNeal (Troon Welbeck) was always behind on route to a 5&3 defeat.
