Ayrshire are just one shot behind the defending champions, Lothians, after the morning foursomes of the 2011 Boys Area Team Championships, being held on Sunday 5th June at Hayston Golf Club.
With the best foursomes score of the day coming from Lothians duo Callum Hill and Lee Morgan, with a two over par 72, Scottish Boys Champion David Wilson (Troon Welbeck) and his clubmate and partner Charlie Macneal recorded a three-over par 73, with the Kilmarnock Barassie duo of Jack McDonald and Euan Walker returning a 74, to give Ayrshire a foursomes tally of 147.
