AYRSHIRE FOURBALL CHAMPIONSHIP - Remaining second round ties completed

The remaining second round ties in the Ayrshire Fourball Championship have been completed and the schedule for the third round ties confirmed.

In the four remaining second round matches, Frank Fulton & Stevie Corrigan (Ayr Dalmilling) received a walkover from Davie Taylor & Grant Wilson (Ayr Seafield) whilst Kevin McCormack & Robert Payne (Ardeer) beat their visitors David  Muir & Craig Young (Loudoun) by 6 & 5.

Also through are Iain and David Macdonald (Largs) who won by 2 & 1 away from home against Frank Henderson & Walter Meiklem (Troon Welbeck).

The remaining place in round three was claimed by the 2010 runners up, Johnny O'Neill & Gary Ross (North Beach) who had a home win over Kenny Milliken & John McKay (Troon St Meddans) by 4 & 2.
