WEST OF SCOTLAND LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP - Ayrshire girls shine at Lanark

Three members of the Ayrshire Girls team shon in the West Of Scotland Ladies Championship, held at Lanark GC on Sunday 8th May.
Seven handicapper Mhairi McKay (West Kilbride) pictured right- with a net aggregate of 143 (72-71) won the individual handicap trophy as well as combining with  Connie Laffrey (Troon Ladies) & Emma Hale (Troon Ladies) - pictured below - to win the Junior Team title as well.





The individual scratch trophy and title of West Of Scotland Ladies Champion was won by Eilidh Briggs of Kilmacolm whose scores of 74 & 73 gave her a one under par total of 147.
The best placed Ayrshire player in the championship was ALCGA County Champion Rachael McQueen (Troon Ladies), who finished 8 shots adrift of the winner, on 155.
