SCOTTISH LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP - McQueen carries Ayrshire hopes as players struggle at windy Machrihanish

The Scottish ladies Championship is being held from 16th to 21st May over the classic links of Machrihanish on the Mull Of Kintyre, with the windy conditions proving a very difficult test for the players.

After rounds of 78 and 83 for a 161 total, Ayrshire County Champion Rachael McQueen (Troon Ladies) - picture right - finished as the only Ayrshire qualifier for the matchplay stage of the championship
