The draws have been made for the Ayrshire Junior Golf League competitions for 2011, with 15 clubs taking part in the League Championship competition this year.
As in previous years the LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP will have four qualifying sections with teams playing each other on a home and away basis and the winners of each section progressing to the semi finals.
Defending champions Kilmarnock (Barassie) have been drawn in Section D alongside Ardeer, West Kilbride and Prestwick St Cuthbert whilst the 2010 runners up, Ayr Belleisle, are in Section C alongside Ballochmyle, Irvine Ravenspark and Caprington.

In the UNDER 16 KNOCKOUT TROPHY competition, the defending champions Ayr Belleisle were drawn to receive a bye into the quarter finals. The full draw for the first round, to be played by 5th June 2011, is :-

The draw for the WALLACE THORNTON TROPHY will be finalised after the AYRSHIRE BOYS TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP which takes place this year at Annanhill on Sunday 17th April.
The 2011 AYRSHIRE BOYS CHAMPIONSHIP will be held at Prestwick St Nicholas on Thursday 4th August whilst the AYRSHIRE BOYS MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP will be held at Prestwick GC from Tuesday 9th to Thursday 11th August.
Following on from the recent decision by the Ayrshire Golf Association to allow the use of Distance Measuring Devices in all their events in 2011, The Ayrshire Junior Golf League have also decided to allow the use of DMD's in all Ayrshire Junior Golf League competitions this year.
