4 Man Texas Scramble – Turnberry Kintyre Course

1st prize Round for 4 on the

Turnberry Championship Ailsa Course (worth over £800)

All Proceeds -> Teddy Bear Foundation (a children’s charity in Scotland with the sole aim of improving the lives of those children with special needs)

DATE: March 16th 2011

TIME: Registration between 10.30-10:45 AM. First Tee-off at 12pm

PLACE: Turnberry Golf Club – Kintyre course

ENTRY FEE: £200 per team (includes: Tea/Coffee at registration, round on the Kintyre course, various on course challenges along with prizes (whiskey, meals for 4 etc), presentation plus a main course meal in the Turnberry golf clubhouse.

All the above for £50 per person!! bargain)

Closing date: Monday 28th February 5.00pm

Format: Tournament will be played in Scramble with 4-person teams.

All player must use a total of 3 drives each within the 18 holes. Initials of that player marked on card next to that hole.

SHOTGUN START

Procedure: Registration, tea/coffee, 1 basket of balls at practice range, round on the Kintyre course, collection of scores, main course dinner(chosen at registration), presentation of all prizes and on course prizes (nearest the pin/longest drive).

Handicap: All players must have an official golf handicap

All 4 persons handicaps will be combined and divided by 10.

e.g. 8 + 4 +12 + 1 = 25 / 10 final h’cap = 2.5

Entry Numbers: 25 team places available.

Entries will be selected on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.

If a Team wishes to sponsor a hole or donate a prize to the tournament administrator, that team will be prioritized within the first 25 selected teams.

Cancelation Policy:

1. If golf tournament is canceled due to weather another date will be revised or entry fee will be returnable

2. If player cancels, a 10 day notice is required to receive 50% of entry fee

3. If player is a “no-show”, entry fee is non-refundable.

4. If a team wishes to swap a player, please notify the tournament administrator with the swap via phone call or a simple email.
