Irvine Golf Club have ousted the defending champions, Loudoun, in the semi final of the 2010 Ayrshire Summer League competition.The Bogside club, champions in 2007, took a 3.5 - 2.5 lead after their home leg of the semi final and in the return leg at Loudoun they produced a notable 4.5 - 1.5 away win for an aggregard winning score of 8 - 4.
Kilmarnock (Barassie), who beat Largs by 8 - 4 over two legs in their quarter final, have a 4 - 2 semi final lead over Ayr Belleisle after their first leg match at Ayr.
The return match in their semi final, at Kilmarnock (Barassie), is scheduled for Sunday 12th September.
