SCOTTISH SENIORS CHAMPIONSHIP - David Miller best for Ayrshire


Ayrshire Vice President David Miller (Kilmarnock Barassie) was the best placed Ayrshire player in the Scottish Seniors Championship, played at Pollock Golf Club this week.

Finishing tied 15th on 222 (+ 9), after rounds of 76, 72 & 74, Miller was nine shots adriftt of the winner Scott McDonald (Dunfermline) on level par 213 (70, 72, 71).

None of the other Ayrshire players in the field made the cut for the final round, which fell at 140 (+8) after round two.
