AYRSHIRE JUNIOR ORDER OF MERIT - McDonald still out in front

Jack McDonald still leads the Ayrshire Junior Order Of Merit as the numbers of returns from the seasons counting events edges towards the half way stage.

Charlie Macneal (Troon Welbeck) has edged into second place courtesy of his second place finishes at the West Kilbride and Troon Welbeck Open competitions, whilst Marc Smith (Troon Welbeck) lies in third place  having secured points at the Scottish Strokeplay Championships and third places at Annanhill and West Kilbride.

David Wilson (Troon Welbeck) is in fourth place, just a few points behind Smith, with the aid of a first place at Annanhill and second place at Ardeer.

The result of the Kilmarnock (Barassie) Junior Open is still awaited whilst there are 10 further counting events scheduled before mid August.
