AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE - Latest results

Round 1 has now been completed in both the Ayrshire Junior Golf League Champion Of Champions and Under 16 Knockout competitions.

In the CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS, Joseph Howie (Ardeer) hasd a 3 & 1 home win over Sandy Darroch (Prestwick St. Nicholas) on Sunday to reach the quarter finals.

In the other outstanding ties, Andrew Wright (Kilmarnock Barassie) received a walkover from Ayrshire Boys Matchplay Champion David Wilson whilst the match between Darren Tannoch (Loudoun) and Connor McQuade (Caprington) was not played, resulting in both players being eliminated from the competition.

In the UNDER 16 KNOCKOUT competition, Prestwick St. Cuthbert had a 4 - 0 win away from home against near neighbours Prestwick St. Nicholas whilst the other three outstanding ties resulted in home wins. Irvine beat neighbours Irvine Ravenspark by 2.5 - 1.5, Loudoun were 3 - 1 winners against Kilmarnock (Barassie) whilst Ardeer beat Ballochmyle 4 - 0.
