SCOTTISH AMATEUR STROKEPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP - Nine Ayrshire players in field for Glasgow Gailes event

Ayrshire will have nine representatives in the field of 144 who will contest the 2010 Scottish Amateur Strokeplay Championship over Glasgow Gailes from 28th to 30th May.



Kilmarnock Barassie are well represented with three players in the field, boys internationalist Jack McDonald being joined by 2003 Scottish Boys Under 16 title winner David Addison as well as former Ayrshire Boys Champion Jamie Mackay.



Current Scottish Internationalists Steven McEwan (Caprington) and Michael Stewart (Troon Welbeck) also take part, alongside Ayrshire stalwart George Robertson (Irvine Ravenspark) and 2008 Ayrshire Champion Of Champions Paul Moultrie (Royal Troon).



Ayr Belleisle also have two players in the stating line up, Chris Harkins and current Doc Thom Ayrshire Order Of Merit Trophy holder Keith Hamilton.

With an entry of 195, a ballot took place at + 1.1 handicap.
