With first round ties due to be completed by 30th May, a number of results in the Ayrshire Junior Champion Of Champions competition have been posted recently.
Whilst Jack Whent (Largs) received a walkover into the quarter finals, three more of the last eight have also been decided.
Home advantage appears to have proved crucial with all three winners being succesful over their home courses.
Patrick Timmons (Troon St. Meddans) beat Ross Conquer (Ballochmyle), Ciar Porciani (Ayr Belleisle) had a notable 4 & 2 win over Charlie Macneal (Troon Welbeck) and Cameron Maclean (West Kilbride) ended the hopes of Greg Vernon (Annanhill) by 2 & 1.
