AYRSHIRE JUNIOR ORDER OF MERIT - Walker leads the way after four events.

With four of the 21 counting events in the 2009 Ayrshire Junior Order Of Merit Trophy completed, Euan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) holds a narrow lead over the field.

Walker took top spot in the Girvan Boys Championship and followed it with a fifth place at Largs to give him a 20 point lead over the other players in the table.

Andrew Wright (Kilmarnock Barassie) is in second place after his win in the Prestwick Boys Open at St. Cuthbert whilst Marc Smith (Troon Welbeck) lies third with points from a third place at largs being added to the points gained at the Scottish Boys Championship earlier in the year.

Graeme Ritchie (Troon Welbeck) and John Robertson (Largs) share fourth place after a shair of the top points at Largs earlier this week.

Present positions in the Junior Order Of merit are :-
