The President and Secretary of the recently formed South Ayrshire Junior Golf Club resigned this week, throwing the administration of the club into turmoil.
With the assistance of other members of the committee and volunteers, the forthcoming competition at Ayr Dalmilling on Sunday 21st June will go ahead as planned.
The club website, which was also administered by the Secretary has, in what appears to be a childish and petulant gesture, become unavailable without warning, with anyone accessing the web page being redirected to the website of a garden suppliers in Renfrewshire.
Matters are in hand to create a new administration for the club and create a new website to keep the junior members and interested parties informed but in the meantime any information will be made available through this site and any other information regarding the club can be obtained through the South Ayrshire Junior Golf Co-Ordinator, Catherine Malcolm, at Catherine.Malcolm@south-ayrshire.gov.uk or through a new e-mail address at sajgc@fsmail.net .
Any parents or golfers interested in becoming involved in the administration of the South Ayrshire Junior Golf Club are invited to make contact through these addresses also.
