AYRSHIRE SUMMER LEAGUE - results update

In League 1, Ballochmyle followed their opening 3.5 - 2.5 win at Belleisle with a 6 - 0 home win over Prestwick St. Cuthbert. Caprington opened their challenge with a 4 - 2 home win over St. Cuthbert.

In League 2, West Kilbride got their first win of the campaign with a 3.5 - 2.5 home win over Troon St. Meddans. The only other results posted so far have been home wins for Troon St. Meddans, by 4.5 - 1.5 over Ardeer, and Loudoun, 5 - 1 against West Kilbride.

In League 3, Kilbirnie are unbeaten after a 4.5 - 1.5 home win over Ravenspark and a 4 - 2 win away from home against Annanhill. Irvine Bogside opened with a 6 - 0 home win against Annanhill whilst Ravenspark bounced back from their opening match defeat to record a home win in their second match, by 4 - 2 against Annanhill.

In League 4, Kilmarnock (Barassie) bounced back from their opening match defeat with a 5 - 1 home win over Tam O Shanter. Beith lead the way with their opening two wins, 6 - 0 at home to Barassie and 4.5 - 1.5 away to Tam o Shanter.

In a very close League 5 no more matches have been played, Welbeck, Largs and New Cumnock all remaining tied at the halfway stage. All three teams in the section have had home wins in their matches, Welbeck beating largs 4.5 - 1.5, New Cumnock beating welbeck by 3.5 - 2.5 and Largs beating New Cumnock by 5.5 - 0.5.

The winners of sections 1,2 & 3 will qualify for the semi finals whilst the winners of sections 4 & 5 will play off for the other semi final place.
