Ayrshire Girls - in the green jerseys - secured 4.5 points to Lanarkshire Girls' 1.5 points in a friendly match, played off handicap, over windy West Kilbride on Saturday 6th June.
Ayrshire girls had a distinct advantage being more accustomed to links golf, but these matches give all the girls a good experience and they enjoyed their day - with the beautiful backdrop of Arran it was a delightful spot to be despite the chill in the wind later on.
