SCOTTISH BOYS AREA TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - Ayrshire side named

Ayrshire have named their team for the 2009 Scottish Boys Area Team Championships, being held at Ballumbie Castle golf course on Sunday 7th June.

The four man team is :-

Colin Robinson (Largs)

Andrew Wright (Kilmarnock Barassie)

Jack McDonald (Kilmarnock Barassie)

David Wilson (Troon Welbeck)

Colin Robinson (left) was the winner of the Carrick Trophy at the Ayrshire Boys Team Championship in 2008 and was third in the 2007 Ayrshire Boys Championship. Robinson was a member of the Ayrshire side who were fourth in the event in 2008.

Andrew Wright (right) was a member of the Kilmarnock (Barassie) teams who won the Wallace Thornton Trophy in 2007 and 2008 and was fourth in the 2008 Ayrshire Junior Order Of Merit. He has also played SGU Junior Tour events this year.

Jack McDonald (left) has been a winner on the SGU Junior Tour this year, in his debut in the event, and was a quarter finalist in the 2009 Scottish Boys Championship.

Third in the 2008 Ayrshire Junior Order Of Merit, David Wilson (right) has also played on the Junior Tour this season and was the winner of the Prestwick Circuits Trophy in the 2009 Ayrshire Boys Team Championship.

The pairings for the morning foursomes will be
