EDWARD TROPHY - second round 77 pushes McEwan down field

A second round of 77 ended the hopes of Steven McEwan (Caprington) in the Edward Trophy at Glasgow Gailes over the weekend.

Sandwiched between an opening 69 and a final round 71 in the weather shortened event, McEwan finished on 217, leaving him six strokes adrift of the winning total of 211 by James White (Lundin), who won after a play off against Paul O'Hara (Colville Park).
