US COLLEGE GOLF - David Addison joint 34th in college tournament

Ayrshire exile David Addison from Stewarton, a senior-year student at the University of Akron, Ohio, finished tied 34th in the Xavier Invitational college tournament at the Oasis Club, Loveland in Ohio.
David, a former Scotland boy international and a member at Kilmarnock Barassie, had rounds of 70, 76 and 73 for a three-over-par total of 219 over the 6921yd, par-72 course.

The individual winner with phenomenal scoring was Mike Van Sickle (Marquette University) with a 17-under-par total of 199, made up of rounds of 64, 68 and 67.
Addison won the SGU Order of Merit 72-hole tournament, the Cameron Corbett Vase, at Haggs Castle during his summer holidays back home this year.
