SCOTTISH SENIORS MATCHPLAY - McLellan carries Ayrshire hopes at Drumpellier


Ronnie McLellan (Turnberry) is the only Ayrshire player still with an interest in the Scottish senior amateur men's match-play golf championship, being played at Drumpellier Golf Club this week, after the first round matches were completed on Wednesday.

The other two Ayrshire qualifiers for the match play stages both lost their first round matches, John Broadfoot (Turnberry) and Keith Howie (West Kilbride) losing by 2 & 1 and 5 & 4 respectively.
