The final of the 2008 Ayrshire Fourball Championship will be between John Campbell and Robin Paton (West Kilbride) and Chris and Alan Bone (Loudoun).
Chris and Alan Bone were first through to the final earlier this week when they defeated Alex Gourlay and Colin Kennedy (Irvine) by 5 & 3 at Irvine (Bogside)and they were joined on Saturday by John Campbell and Robin Paton who edged through in a tight home match against Craig Murdoch and Andy Reid (Ayr Carrick) by one hole.
The date and venue for the final match have still to be confirmed.
