NORTH OF SCOTLANS SENIORS CHAMPIONSHIP - McLellan third for second week

Ronnie McLellan (Turnberry) - pictured right - was third for a second successive tournament on the Scottish Seniors Circuit this week, when he followed his performance at Dumfries & County a week ago with an equally impressive finish over the Nairn Dumbar course this week.

An eagle 3 at the 16th helped Colin Christy from Kilmacolm with the even, after McLellan had led the field of 94 overnight.

David Miller (Kilmarnock Barassie) & Keith GHowie (West Kilbride) also finished well up the field on 152, both having scored successive 76's over the two rounds.
