Jim McKinnon (Irvine) got off to a good start in the Glenmuir PGA professional championship at Moortown Golf Club, Leeds, on Tuesday 29/07/2008 as the championship was delayed due to torrential rain.
McKinnon opened with a two-under 69 which leaves him in joint second place amongs the players who managed to complete their first round.
Former European Tour player Andrew Sherborne, and Will Barnes from the Lichfield are joint leaders on 68.
