The Ayrshire under 18 team suffered a 6 - 2 defeat at the hands of Stirlingshire at Glenbervie on Sunday 26th August, in the West Of Scotland inter county under 18 league.
A late collapse in three of the ties saw the Ayrshire boys defeated in all three after leading their ties in the latter stages, and this turned the match in favour of the home side.
Ayrshire finish the series in September with a home match at Ardeer against Glasgow.
