The NACCO team of Tom Mcfarlane & Tom McConnell beat A. Linwood & I. McKinlay (Drongan) by 3 & 1 in the quarter final of the 2007 Ayrshire Fourball championship this week, to set up a real local derby in the semi final.
NACCO are hosts to the Irvine Ravenspark pairing of Tom McFarlane and Joe Hobson in the last four. Brian Gibson works at NACCO whilst Joe Hobson is a former employee.
In the other semi final, Scott McCahill & David Wallace (Maybole) are hosts to Billy Andrew & James McMurdo (Ballochmyle).
Semi final ties are due to be played by 9th September 2007
