Stephen McBlain (Prestwick St. Cuthbert) ---- pictured with Belleisle Captain Robert Morrison & Colin McCrossin of spponsors Slater Hogg & Howison ---- won the 2007 Belleisle Cup on Sunday 3rd June, to follow up his win in the Prestwick Links the week previously.

With a number of call-offs because of the terrible weather conditions, a field of 64 started out to attempt to win the event, sponsored this year by Slater, Hogg and Howison.

McBlain, with rounds of 72 and 71 won by virtue of lower 2nd round, from 1st round leader Brian Moore of Largs who followed his tremendous morning 68 with an afternoon 75.
