The chase for the 2006 Wallace Thornton Trophy began recently with Ayr Belleisle recording a 3.5 - 0.5 home win over Irvine Ravenspark in the first match completed in Section 2.
matches will be completed in both qualifying sections by the end of August, with the winners of each section contesting the final in September.
