AYRSHIRE GOLF ASSOCIATION - Summer League holders ousted at qualifying stage.

Ballochmyle's bid for three succesive Summer League titles has been thwarted at the qualifying section stage by Troon Welbeck, after the latest round of matches.

In League 1, Loudoun suffered their first defeat of the season with a 4-2 loss at home to West Kilbride, which also maintained West Kilbride's slim hopes of a semi final place. Current positions in League 1 are :-

Kilmarnock Barassie and Irvine Ravenspark now face a two leg play off to decide who progresses to meet Troon Welbeck in the semi finals, whilst the winners of Leagues 1 and 2 will meet in the other semi final encounter.
