AYRSHIRE GOLF ASSOCIATION - 2005 MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP - Kilmarnock Barassie duo meet in final

The final of the 2005 Ayrshire Matchplay Championship will be an all Kilmarnock Barassie affair, after the Semi Finals were completed at Prestwick St. Cuthbert on Wednesday evening.

In the first semi final, Defending Champion David McLure (Troon Welbeck) lost his grip on the title with a one hole defeat to Steven McEwan (Kilmarnock Barassie).

David Addison (Kilmarnock Barassie) had a notable victory by 3 & 2 over Gavin Lawrie (Prestwick St. Nicholas) to ensure the Barassie final.

The final match will take place

on Thursday 5th May

at Prestwick St. Cuthbert Golf Club
