AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE - Ardeer one step away from successful defence - Kilmarnock Barassie on course for final place

Despite a 4 - 2 defeat in the return leg of their semi final at Beith, defending champions Ardeer edged through to the 2004 AJGL final by virtue of a countback over the individual tie scores, after a 6 - 6 draw

In the second semi final Kilmarnock Barassie defeated Largs Routenburn by 4 - 2 in the first leg at Barassie last Sunday.

Barassie have a busy day on Sunday 5th September when two teams travel to largs, one to contest the final of the Wallace Thornton Trophy at Largs GC, whilst another team travels to Routenburn for the second leg of their League Championship semi final.
