AYRSHIRE JUNIOR ORDER OF MERIT - Jack Broadfoot remains in front with twelve events remaining

Jack Broadfoot (Royal Troon) consolidated his lead in the Ayrshire Junior Order of merit, with twelve counting events remaining, after his second place finish in the Ayrshire Boys' Strokeplay Championship recently.

With his win in the Boys' Championship, Scott Newman (West Kilbride) moved up into second place

Follwing his first place in the recent Kilmarnock Barassie Junior Open, Quintin Dunlop (Turnberry) moved into third place in the table when he added a third place finish in the Ayrshire Boys'.

Orla Moran (Irvine) moved up to fourth place in the Order of merit following her win in the Ayrshire Girls' Championship.

There are several counting events scheduled in August, including the Ayrshire Boys Matchplay Championship, the Ayr Belleisle Junior Open, the Byrne Howard Junior Open at Royal Troon, the Balocmyle Junior Open, the Prestwick St Cuthbert Junior Open, the Girls and Boys Amateur Championships, the Turnberry Junior Open and the Tom Lehman Junior Open at the Troon Links courses.
