AYRSHIRE WOMEN'S HANDICAP LEAGUE - Latest positions in qualifying sections

The two qualifying sections in the 2024 Ayrshire Women's handicap League Championship are under way, with several fixtures having been completed, as clubs bid to top their respective sections and qualify for the championship semi finals in August.

In SECTION A, Loudoun lead the way, having recorded successive home wins by 3-1 over Kilmarnock Barassie and Ballochmyle and secured a 2-2 draw in the return fixture away to Kilmarnock Barassie.

In SECTION B, three of the four clubs are locked together with one win each, Troon Welbeck, Royal Troon and caprington all recording home wins over Ayr Belleisle ladies by 4 - 0, 3 - 1 and 2.5 - 1.5 respectively.

 All qualifying section matches are due to be completed by the 4th of August with home and away semi finals, involving the winners and runners up in each section, due to be completed by the 25th of August with the winners of each semi final contesting the final in ealry September.
