AYRSHIRE MEN'S CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TROPHY - Four of eight quarter finalists book their places

Four of the eight quarter finalists in the 2024 Ayrshire Men's Champion of Champions Trophy competition have been confirmed, with the remaining third round ties due to be completed by the 30th of June.

Aidan Long (Ayr Belleisle) won by 3&1 at home to Brian Gibson (Rowallan Castle) and will be at home to the defending champion Craig Hamilton (Ballochmyle) in the quarter finals after Hamilton had a 2&1 win away to Kenny Doherty (Routenburn) in the previous round.

Andy Marshall (Prestwick St Nicholas) had a 2&1 away win over Stuart Miller (Kilmarnock Barassie) and will be at home to either John R. Anderson (Skelmorlie) or Michael Main (Largs) in the last eight, while Alan Smeeton (Tam O Shanter) had a notable 4&2 win on his visit to play Joe McSorley (Prestwick St Cuthbert) and will be at home to either William Fleming (Ballochmyle) or Steven Mcewan (Caprington) in the quarter finals.
