AYRSHIRE JUNIOR ORDER OF MERIT - Sean Hillis secures 2023 title

Sean Hillis (Kilmarnock Barassie) is the 2023 Ayrshire Junior order of merit winner, following his victory in the Tom Lehman Trophies competition at the Troon Municipal courses last week.

The points gained at Troon put Hillis out of reach of Findlay Watt (West Kilbride) in second place and the Irvine GC duo of Liam Moran and Ryan Kennedy in joint third place, as well as the rest of the chasing pack.

Due to an unfortunate clash of dates with the final Ayrshire fixture in the West of Scotland inter county Under 18 league, no order of merit points will be awarded at the Prestwick St Nicholas Junior open this year, leaving the final counting event as the Irvine GC Junior Open on the 18th of September, where the second and third places in the 2023 Ayrshire Junior Order of Merit will be decided.

With one counting event now remaining to be played, present positions in the Ayrshire Junior order of merit are:-
