AYRSHIRE SCRATCH LEAGUES - latest positions

The Ayrshire Scratch leagues continue to provide close competition this year, following a number of matches played recently.

In DIVISION 1, Loudoun suffered their first defeat of the season, losing narrowly by 3.5 - 2.5 on their visit to play Kilmarnock (Barassie) at Troon.

 In DIVISION 2, West Kilbride lead the way after securing a 3 - 3 draw at Ayr Belleisle, who also enjoyed a recent 4 - 2 win over Girvan at home also. Capringtion maintained their title hopes following a 5 - 1 home win against Ardeer. Present positions in Division 2 are :-

 In DIVISION 3, New Cumnock joined Turnberry at the top of the table after beating Prestwick St Nicholas 3.5 - 2.5 at new Cumnock, whilst Turnberry lost out by the same score on their visit to Kilbirnie Place. Prestwick St Nicholas maintained their position with a 3.5 - 2.5 home win over bottom club Largs. Present positions in Division 3 are :-
